One of our latest projects was the ‘Coombe abbey blend’. A collaboration with one of coventry’s most famous historical venues. the coombe abbey hotel.

ryan - part of ‘no ordinary hospitality’ - the management group behind the abbey and other local venues reached out to us wanting to offer a line of local coffee products within the artisan market shop on site at the abbey.

We got straight to work finding the perfect blend to suit such a prestigious venue.

The Coombe Abbey blend features medium-roasted single-origin beans from Peru, sourced exclusively from the Alto Mayo region—a protected forest in northern Peru. Grown at altitudes of 1,200 to 1,900 meters, these exceptional beans thrive in a sustainable environment that supports the region’s biodiversity and cultural heritage. Certified by Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade, and Organic Produce, this blend offers tasting notes of roasted nuts, dark cocoa, and forest fruits, delivering a smooth, bittersweet finish.

Ryan from Coombe Abbey Hotel highlighted the partnership as part of No Ordinary Hospitality’s commitment to supporting local suppliers. The venue also collaborates with Baked Brownies in Rugby, The Barn at Berryfields in Meriden, Auntie’s in Coventry, and Blabers Wine in Fillongley.

He added, “Harry and Connor embody the qualities we seek in a supplier—passionate about sharing their product while providing a high-quality offering. We’re excited to celebrate Coombe Abbey in this way and encourage visitors to try it during their stay.”
